With a presence in all 55 counties, we bring research-backed knowledge, hands-on learning and life-changing opportunities right to your doorstep. Your generosity today sparks innovation, fuels growth and strengthens communities across West Virginia. Whether it's our flagship 4-H youth development program, statewide safety and health training, agritourism or community engagement (and everything in between), WVU Extension is woven into the fabric of our state. No matter where you live or what cause you're passionate about, there’s a fund to support every county and every program—connecting you directly to the impact you want to make!

The heart of Extension beats strong in every corner of West Virginia, thanks to a unique funding partnership between federal, state and county governments. However, this funding alone isn’t enough to sustain and grow the opportunities we provide. Your gift directly supports local programs and hands-on learning experiences—ensuring that every West Virginian has access, no matter their financial situation.

Your support fuels programs that strengthen our families, grows our communities and builds a brighter future for West Virginia. From cradle to career and beyond, we’re here—every step of the way. Whether it’s feeding and helping a child learn to read, supporting farmers and small businesses, or training first responders, your gift creates real change where it matters most.

At WVU Extension, we believe in improving lives and livelihoods for every West Virginian—from the youngest dreamers to our most experienced community members.

Click the GIVE button to make a difference where it matters most! A gift as small as $5 can helps expand vital programs—and every donation brings us one step closer to winning hourly challenges and expand our reach, ensuring that every West Virginian—no matter where they live—has access to education, resources and support.
