Students in our B.S. in Dental Hygiene, Doctor of Dental Surgery and advance training programs are following their purpose to serve others and improve well-being through oral health, but the increased cost of education is becoming a barrier for many wishing to enter the field of dentistry. Especially challenging for DDS students, the national average student debt following dental school is nearing $300,000.

With your help, the next generation of dentists and dental hygienists will be trained in radically modernized facilities at the WVU School of Dentistry. The extensive expansion and renovation project will allow for significant modernization and unification of facilities in an area of the Health Sciences Center that has largely remained unchanged from its original footprint since the school’s founding in 1957.
