Your support will help the WVU Critical Care and Trauma Institute's Fresh Tissue Training Program as it settles into its new location! Due to the increased success since its inception in 2018, WVU Medicine funded a $2.2 million renovation of space located in the WVU Health Sciences Center. This innovative program, one of only four in the country, looks forward to creating more training opportunities but needs your help to keep costs down! This fund helps to purchase PPE, training materials, surgical equipment, and even cadavers to keep costs affordable for its learners.
“The new fresh tissue lab will be an amazing opportunity for students and military to learn in one of the most realistic training environments. As one of only a few programs in the country, I look forward to continuing my training in this new space once it opens. There is no doubt that my time in the lab has made me a better surgeon for my patients.”
