Student Support Services/TRIO

Student Support Services/TRIO (SSS)

SSS is a federally funded grant program that serves students who are (1) first-generation college students, (2) low income, and/or (3) have a documented disability with the Office of Student Accommodations. SSS provide services and guidance to students improve their college experience by addressing academic, financial, and personal barriers to completing a college degree. We provide wraparound services including academic, personal, and financial counseling, tutoring, advising, free events and programs, and one-on-one support as needed. 

SSS SAFE Emergency Fund:

Through generous donations from our supporters and alumni, SSS offers an emergency fund for participants who are faced with financial obstacles as they pursue their college degrees. Our emergency fund helps SSS participants pay for such expenses as housing, household bills, groceries, textbooks, transportation and school supplies.
