WV Council of International Programs

The WV Council of International Programs (WVCIP) has been serving WVU and the Morgantown Community for over 50 years. The Council provides professional development experiences for international professionals to serve, and opportunities to facilitate cross-cultural and professional exchange by:

  • Recruiting international participants to come to West Virginia to engage in a professional and cultural experience.
  • Providing training and work-related experiences utilizing the resources of WVU and the broader community.
  • Creating unique opportunities for participants to learn about life in the USA.
  • Providing West Virginians an opportunity to broaden their knowledge and understanding of other countries.

Your support will help us accomplish the following during their two-month stay Fall 2025:

  • Scholarships to assist participants to get here and during their stay.
  • Professional development (e.g. conferences, site visits) available to participants through their internships.
  • Orientation and programming for participants to interact with the Morgantown community.
  • Support for our generous host families.

To make your gift be sure to select Fund #2V721 or enter “CIP Program” for your fund designation.

Your support will make an impact on our immediate needs and help us build a sustainable program for the future.
