• The Alumni Association hires interns annually, offering hands-on experience in marketing, administration, hospitality, and event planning. Your gift helps students turn classroom knowledge into real-world skills.

Engagement with Alumni and Friends:

• The Alumni Association connects Mountaineers nationwide through 75+ chapters and groups that volunteer, support students, recruit, and fundraise for scholarships, maintaining a vibrant network of alumni and friends.

Student-Centered Programming:

• The WVU Alumni Association prioritizes supporting students throughout their journey, from programming and scholarships to internships. This commitment ensures a seamless transition from student life to becoming proud alumni.

Professional Networking:

• Supporting graduates through networking is key. From career transitions to connecting leaders and fostering Mountaineer-to-Mountaineer hiring, your support builds meaningful partnerships with WVU and the state of West Virginia. 

Alumni Travel and Outreach:

• Initiatives to keep alumni connected and informed include the WVU Alumni Newsletter, WVU Travel Program, and content in the WVU Magazine. Your contribution ensures the continuous production of these resources and programs, enhancing the connection between alumni and their alma mater.
