WVU Online eagerly anticipates the future, because it’s where convenience, flexibility, and accessibility meet. We are dedicated to providing an online experience that enhances our students’ global perspectives, critical thinking skills, and virtual collaboration opportunities.
As we foster student access to our University’s various academic programs, our online campus is asking for your support. The future is about acceptance, innovation, change and growth, as well as creating environments that allow Mountaineers to thrive from wherever they may be.
Please consider making a gift to support WVU Online on this Day of Giving. Here’s how your gift will impact change.
Scholarship Support
Support for students is more important than ever. Scholarship funds allow us to help students obtain an education they may not have been able to pursue otherwise. Deserving students should be rewarded with the ability to afford higher education. Your gift allows us to reward those students.
Textbook Fund
Textbook costs have increased over the years with books adding an additional $1,200 or more to college costs. While it may seem small compared to tuition costs, textbook scholarship funds have become increasing popular. This fund will allow students who work to support ancillary college expenditures to bank, or use the extra cash for food and other life essentials, while earning their degree.
Application Fee Waivers
Showing appreciation to those students who inquire and choose to apply, by offering application fee waivers, is just one our little ways to help ease financial stress. We know that students have multiple expenditures during the application cycle and beyond, and this waiver alleviates one of the factors that may impede the decision to apply.
Re-admitted Students
One thing we understand is the desire to earn your degree from WVU. Sometimes the journey isn’t as straightforward for some as it is for others. We never leave a Mountaineer behind. For those applying for re-admission, this fund will allow them to take their first class, free of charge. Let’s Go!
