Why we need your support

As the leading healthcare network in West Virginia, the WVU Medicine healthcare team makes a difference in the lives of patients like Keith Eaton every day. The vital role of doctors, nurses and other caregivers has never been more apparent than during the COVID-19 pandemic, as they risked their lives and sacrificed time with loved ones to ensure the health and well-being of our communities. 

WVU Medicine and the WVU Foundation established the Grateful Patients, Families and Friends Program to provide opportunities for individuals, family members and friends to recognize the exceptional care provided by WVU Medicine healthcare professionals.
