CPASS students experience collaborative projects through international partnerships.
Our academic programs continue to expand their relevance on campus, in West Virginia and beyond through innovative programing, high quality research, community outreach and the preparation of future leaders.
We celebrate our faculty, students and alumni who have received national and international awards, recognizing the contributions they have made to their professions. We take pride in providing the best quality educational experiences, helping our students achieve their career goals and sticking to our roots through student-centered programs.
Why we need your support.
Our academic programs pursue new avenues to prepare students to serve as innovators in their fields. We are educating a growing number of learners, integrating new and innovative technologies while prioritizing workforce readiness and development. To effectively transform the lives of our students, we need your support to ensure our competitive edge.
How you can help.
Your contribution, of any amount, matters. Donor gifts help enhance academic learning opportunities and promote our mission of improving the quality of life for West Virginians. Further, your support will help us provide leadership in teaching, research and service. Help boost student success by giving to the scholarship or other fund of your choice.
Dean Bill Douglas Scholarship Fund (2S646) - Join us in supporting the Dean Bill Douglas Scholarship to create a bright future for students by helping them fulfill their dreams. This scholarship honors former Dean J. William Douglas who guided the School of Physical Education (CPASS) through significant transformative changes in a positive and professional manner during his time as dean from 1979 - 1992. Gifts for this scholarship will directly benefit students who are enrolled in majors that currently exist within CPASS.
Dean’s Fund (2U043) - This fund supports critical needs, including recruitment and retention initiatives, scholarships and programming designed to provide students with hands-on industry experience through internships, guest lectures and field trips. The fund also supports critical expenditures in areas such as awards programming, development efforts and other areas of importance.
“The College was and remains a family because of Dr. Douglas. He is one of the brightest and most compassionate people I know and the embodiment of true Mountaineer spirit. Each recipient of the Dean Bill Douglas Scholarship will be truly blessed.” --- Moe Rubenstein, who provided the initial gift to create the scholarship. Class of 1981
