Diversity, equity and inclusion are critically important in health care. At WVU Health Sciences, students, faculty and staff are committed to developing a culture of inclusive excellence that embodies our Mountaineer values – service, curiosity, respect, accountability and appreciation – and extends across the WVU campus and beyond.
Through collaboration with the WVU Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, numerous DEI committees within the five health schools and numerous centers and institutes and the WVU Medicine director of diversity, equity and inclusion, we are dedicated to curricular and experiential training in equity, inclusion and diversity to create balanced, healthy and socially conscious graduates and providers.
