Giving to the Dean’s Opportunity Fund is an excellent way to support us on the WVU Day of Giving. This fund allows WVU Davis College the flexibility to help in all areas — from research to scholarships, to specific student and faculty needs, and to other opportunities that advance our land-grant mission. Some important initiatives that your gift will help on this WVU Day of Giving include the establishment of the Davis College Career Closet, experiential learning and new projects that advance our vision for a world sustainably fed, clothed and sheltered.

Your gift makes a difference! With donor support, Davis College has added three new scholarship initiatives, the First Year Performance Scholarship, the Completion Scholarship and Transfer Student Scholarship in 2022. With these awards, we were able to award an additional $25,500 in new scholarship dollars, all of which came through grassroots-funded donor support and events like WVU Day of Giving. Students face tremendous challenges and overcome so much to complete their degrees and prepare for future careers. Your gift will help take financial concerns off a student’s mind allowing them to focus on a successful future career.
