WVU’s Greek Life community provides men and women opportunities to develop as leaders and create lifelong bonds of friendship.
The Nolan Burch Greek Leadership Academy is one of its most prestigious leadership development programs.
The Academy is a multi-week, non-credit experiential leadership experience which brings together select leaders from any recognized fraternity or sorority to discuss critical issues facing Greek Life at WVU as well as across the country. With a focus on the legacy of Nolan Burch, a WVU student who passed away in 2014 due to an alcohol hazing ritual in an unrecognized fraternity, the Academy equips students with resources and tools to inspire a paradigm shift in culture to a healthy and safe Greek experience for all.
The Greek Alumni Hall of Fame recognizes the contributions of WVU’s fraternity and sorority alumni to the WVU community and the communities where they live and work. Established in 2018, the Hall provides a lasting way to honor the impact of these individuals and their use of the skills they developed as an undergraduate member of the Greek community.
Your financial support of Greek Life during WVU’s Day of Giving will contribute to the long-term success and continuity of each of these programs.
