The Erickson Alumni Center is the home away from home for all WVU Alumni, friends and family.
Gifts to The Erickson Alumni Center Building Fund will directly support capital improvements and deferred maintenance projects involving information technology updates and facilities maintenance of the Alumni Center.
Information technology updates are a key component to preserving The Erickson Alumni Center as a go-to destination for corporate meetings, board meetings, special ceremonies, awards banquets, and large events to celebrate the many moments in the lives of Mountaineers. Detailed projects include, but are not limited to:
- Conference room and ballroom AV equipment
- Network infrastructure including network switches and wireless access points
- Access control for the building
Despite the extraordinary consequences of delaying important repairs, deferred facilities maintenance contributes to safety hazards, energy inefficiency, and reputational damage for The Erickson Alumni Center. As necessary upgrades are postponed, system failures start increasing at a greater volume and frequency. This puts our maintenance team in a mode of reactivity with less focus on preventive maintenance. Detailed projects include, but are not limited to:
- Air Handler Replacement
- Kitchen Equipment Replacement
- Lighting Upgrades
- Flooring Replacement
Thank you for your continued support of The Erickson Alumni Center and your commitment to the many special moments celebrated within the building.
