WVU Club Hockey

Your support is critical to the continued growth and success of WVU Hockey. We rely on passionate, loyal, and caring members of the Mountaineer family, like you, to provide meaningful opportunities for our student-athletes both on and off the ice.

WVU Hockey is home to Division I, II, III, and IV men's teams and a Division II women's team, offering student-athletes the opportunity to compete at a high level while representing West Virginia University with pride. Our program fosters leadership, accountability, academic excellence, and a strong sense of community within the Mountaineer family. 

Your support empowers WVU Hockey by:

  • Helping offset facility usage costs. Ice time and facility access are essential to our program. Contributions directly support the cost of rink usage, ensuring our teams have the space they need to practice and compete.
  • Reducing player fees. As a student-funded program, player dues make up a significant portion of our budget. Your generosity helps lessen the financial burden on our athletes, allowing them to focus on academics and competition.
  • Supporting locker room access for our D1, D2, and D3 teams. Dedicated locker room space strengthens team culture, preparation, and pride in wearing the Flying WV.
  • Providing tuition assistance based on academic achievement and community service. We are committed to recognizing student-athletes who excel in the classroom and give back to their communities. Your gift helps reward those who demonstrate leadership both on and off the ice.
