When you donate to the WVU School of Nursing, you are giving to one of the top-rated nursing programs in the country. We don’t just educate and train nurses to provide compassionate care in the state and beyond, we prepare nurses for impactful contributions in the communities in which they live and serve.
Your support empowers the WVU School of Nursing to create incredible opportunities, including:
Dean’s Fund 2U050: An unrestricted discretionary fund monitored and approved only by the Dean of the WVU School of Nursing, the Dean’s Fund has an impact far beyond the classroom. This fund helps students on all five our campuses. Often, the difference between a student staying enrolled and leaving college comes down to one simple textbook. Our Dean’s Fund helps our nursing students with financial emergencies that keep them enrolled and excelling in our programs.
Nursing Unrestricted Scholarship Fund 2S623: Student scholarships are needed in all our programs on all of our campuses. Our students are the best of the best- they deserve your support! If you are interested in supporting our general fund, this is it! If you are interested in a specific fund, please search our funds and select your preference.
Nursing Expansion Fund 2W1830: Expanding programs and learning environments is a top priority of the School of Nursing. As we continue to grow, we must renovate current spaces and expand others. Giving to this fund provides the support needed for expansion projects on all campuses to be successful.
Student Ambassador Scholarship Fund 2W1739: Our ambassadors are an integral part of everything we do at the School of Nursing. Whether they are interacting with high school and/or middle school students at our special recruitment events, having lunch with potential donors, or providing A-Day-In-The-Life of a nursing student, our ambassadors go above and beyond to represent WVU! Giving to this fund provides much needed financial support in a scholarship for all of the “extras” that these students do throughout a calendar year.
Faith Community Nursing Community Engagement Fund 2W604: The FCN program is committed to equipping nurses with the skills and knowledge to serve their communities by integrating faith and health through nurse-led access to care points. This initiative supports the land-grant mission of addressing health disparities, fostering collaboration, and improving overall community health across WV.
When you make a gift—no matter the size—you help make an immediate impact. Your spirited generosity and devotion are greatly appreciated! Let’s Go!
