The WVU Medicine Hospice Garden in Clarksburg, West Virginia, is a 1.7-acre serene sanctuary thoughtfully designed to provide a space for reflection, remembrance, and healing for hospice families and our community. Originally established in 2001, the garden has long served as a place of comfort and connection. Renovations began in 2025 to restore and preserve this cherished space for future generations.
The garden stands as a central gathering place for our community. Each year, WVU Medicine Hospice holds two annual memorial services within its peaceful setting, offering families an opportunity to honor and remember their loved ones together.
Throughout the garden, visitors will find 43 memorial benches, more than 1,000 engraved pavers, and meaningful sculptures—each dedicated in honor of a loved one and symbolizing remembrance, reflection, and hope.
We invite you to consider supporting the Hospice Garden and helping us sustain a place built with love, compassion, and a commitment to serving our community. Your generous donation will ensure that the Hospice Garden remains a lasting sanctuary for those who seek comfort and healing.
