For over 20 years, the WVU School of Medicine Eastern Campus has been transforming the future of rural healthcare in West Virginia. Through our partnership with WVU Medicine Berkeley and Jefferson Medical Centers, third- and fourth-year medical students receive exceptional, hands-on clinical training while serving communities that need them most.

Students choose the Eastern Campus because of its personalized, one-on-one faculty mentorship and its unwavering commitment to rural medicine. Here, learning goes beyond the classroom. Students train in hospitals, clinics and community health centers across the Eastern Panhandle, gaining real-world experience that prepares them to practice confidently in rural communities.

The first 40 gifts to any School of Medicine fund will unlock $25,000 to STEPS fund. Every time an additional 40 gifts is donated to the School of Medicine, an additional $25,000 is unlocked with the opportunity to unlock a total of $100,000 in support to STEPS.
