The Health Professions programs at the WVU School of Medicine are training the next generation of healthcare heroes.
We’re athletic trainers, audiologists, health informatics and information management professionals, medical doctors, medical laboratory scientists, occupational therapists, pathologists’ assistants, physical therapists, physician assistants, researchers, speech-language pathologists and more.
We’re a large and diverse group. Health Professions includes six undergraduate and nine graduate and professional programs. And while our opportunities are big – hands-on experience with healthcare practitioners, R1 research and training in state-of-the-art facilities – our small class sizes allow for personalized attention that fosters a close-knit community.
Together, we can continue to improve resources and provide much-needed support for Health Professions students.
When you make a gift—no matter the amount—you make an immediate difference in the lives of our students. Your support of our healthcare heroes is appreciated.
Support from alumni and friends is critical to the vitality and health of our WVU School of Medicine Health Professions. Your generous contributions to our Greatest Needs funds will help meet the unexpected needs that arise, provide the flexibility to allocate funding to our highest priorities and turn challenges into incredible opportunities to equip a new generation of Health Professions students to lead and succeed.
