Diversity, equity and inclusion are critically important in health care. At WVU Health Sciences, students, faculty and staff are committed to developing a culture of inclusive excellence that embodies our Mountaineer values – service, curiosity, respect, accountability and appreciation – and extends across the WVU campus and beyond.

Through collaboration with the WVU Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, committees within the five health schools and numerous centers and institutes and WVU Medicine, we are dedicated to curricular and experiential training to create balanced, healthy and socially conscious graduates and providers.

Members of the WVU community, like you, can not only provide important opportunities for our Health Sciences students to learn how to care for others, but also provide activities and supports to increase a sense of belonging.
