Student Government Association

Established in 1920, the Student Government Association of West Virginia University is responsible for representing the needs and concerns of all Mountaineers. Student Government has been responsible for many major projects and initiatives at West Virginia University, including the construction of the Student Recreation Center on the Evansdale campus.

Your support is critical to help the Student Government Association support all students on our campus. We rely on passionate, loyal and caring members of the Mountaineer family, like you, to provide important opportunities for our students and the greater community.   This year we’ve been focused on student life, academic affairs, community engagement, and strategic initiatives as well as student recruitment and retention at WVU. With your support this Day of Giving, SGA is hoping to fund our continued advocacy for students as well as our future hosting of Big XII and Big XII on the Hill in the upcoming years.

By donating, you can help us take on new challenges and experiences, to leave things better than when we found them. No matter how big or small, your donation is appreciated by students across the University.
