School of Medicine - Charleston Division

Since 1972, the School of Medicine’s Charleston Campus, in partnership with the Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC), has provided clinical learning opportunities to students. Our students come to us not only for learning but for the close-knit community our faculty and alumni provide. Our students take advantage of the new resources, like our simulation lab, which opened last year, and old favorites, like our expansive medical library and study rooms. The culture and community draw many of our students to live and learn on our Charleston Campus, but with the support of donors, we can provide scholarships and experiences that will benefit them and have them coming back to our area over the course of their lives.

Funding Priorities:

Charleston Division Deans Scholarship (2S602): Invest in the future of medicine. Your donation to medical students at the Charleston Division helps build a brighter future for aspiring clinicians by easing the financial burden they face as future healthcare providers.

Charleston Division Greatest Needs Fund (2U035): Support from alumni and friends is critical to the vitality and health of our WVU School of Medicine Charleston Campus. Your generous contributions to our Greatest Needs fund will help meet the unexpected needs that arise, provide the flexibility to allocate funding to our highest priorities and turn challenges into incredible opportunities to equip a new generation of medical students to lead and succeed.
