In times of change WVU Libraries relies on passionate, loyal and caring members of the Mountaineer family, like you, to provide the important resources, state-of-the-art equipment and library facilities to advance the academic studies outstanding research of our students, and faculty. medical professionals and the greater WVU community.   

Your support at this time allows us the space to meet operational needs in a timely manner, and the ability to move in new strategic directions so that we can continue to evolve as a great library.

Friends of WVU Libraries (2V997)

Our Friends of WVU Libraries provides the added support to meet our greatest needs, growing the physical and technology services available to students, faculty and WVU alumni on campus, from home and around the globe. Everything from poster printers to laptops, materials for special collections archives processing to top quality speakers and events are made accessible with these dollars.

Special Initiative Opportunities Fund (2V892)

WVU Libraries special initiatives encompass a host of activities that seek to highlight the creative endeavors and scholarship of the broad academic community. From actions to increase digital availability and other open access to scholarly resources at no cost, to services for unique constituencies like graduate students and our student veterans, to our Art in the Libraries programming and exhibits, WVU Libraries seeks to expand opportunities while addressing academic needs when and where they are identified.
