Why we need your support
The Jon Michael Moore Trauma Center serves as a comprehensive regional resource providing total care for every aspect of injury, from prevention through rehabilitation.
During 2016, we provided care for:
- 1,403 injuries from falls
- 995 motor vehicle and motorcycle crash victims
- 239 patients with ATV-related injuries
- 120 patients with work-related injuries
We also provide outreach and educational services to emergency medical service agencies, rural hospital personnel and community members and their families throughout West Virginia. Programs on fall prevention, helmet safety and the consequences of distracted and impaired driving are just a few of the educational programs offered.
