Your gift to WVU Medicine Children’s helps improve the health of West Virginia children and women through excellence in patient care, research and education.
Why we need your support
In 2016, we treated more than 64,000 children more than 277,000 times, and our doctors performed nearly 10,000 pediatric surgeries.
Our mission is to see no child left untreated. That is accomplished through our generous supporters, who help us purchase lifesaving equipment, accomplish groundbreaking research and support the emotional well-being of our young patients.
How you can help
Contributing to one of our priority funds is one way to support WVU Medicine Children’s:
- Greatest Needs
This fund provides support where the need is the greatest at WVU Medicine Children’s.
- WVU Children’s Compassion, Caring and Comfort Fund
The Comfort Fund allows us to provide our patients’ families with short-term assistance when other community, state or national resources are not available.
These funds need your support, but with the ever-increasing need for private philanthropic giving, a gift to any program in WVU Medicine Children’s will be greatly appreciated.
