The WVU School of Public Health improves the health of West Virginians through innovation and leadership in education, research and service.
Your gifts shape the lives of our students and improve health in West Virginia and beyond.
Why we need your support
We are committed to producing leaders who create immediate and lasting value, and, along with our outstanding faculty, build a strong reputation for our School.
But your help is vital.
WVU is receiving less financial support from the State of West Virginia. The State Legislature has reduced institutional support by more than $38 million over the past four years.
To adapt, we need the flexibility provided by gifts to our areas of greatest need. Your support ensures our future stability and helps us maintain our competitive edge.
How you can help
You can help meet this need by contributing to one of our priority funds:
- Greatest Needs (Dean’s Fund for Excellence in Public Health)
Giving to this fund helps with our most pressing needs. Gifts support student travel to conferences to present their research, special programs and speakers for our students and alumni, and other educational experiences.
- Scholarships (School of Public Health Scholarship Fund)
This fund enables us to attract the most talented students to the important work of solving the state’s critical public health challenges.
