The WVU Reed College of Media is committed to providing our students with an innovative curriculum, as well as the skills and mindset to adapt and succeed in the evolving and dynamic media industry.
While we continue to provide students with fundamental skills in writing, reporting, research, media ethics and law, we are continually adapting our curriculum and programs to remain relevant to our students and industry.
Why we need your support
Your generosity provides the resources we need to support new opportunities and initiatives designed to address the challenges our industry and academic disciplines face in the ever-changing media landscape. Thanks to you we can:
- Innovate our curriculum
- Expand our access to cutting-edge technology and media applications
- Provide more hands-on learning experiences for our students
- Focus on our real-world experiential learning and community outreach projects
How you can help
On the Day of Giving, you can help the WVU Reed College of Media by supporting our areas of greatest need.
- Greatest Needs
Our greatest need is support of the Dean’s Fund, which provides us with the flexibility to direct resources where they are most needed. Annual gifts to this fund support the College in developing unique initiatives, as well as supporting students with scholarships and enhancement funds for internships and study abroad opportunities.
Gifts to this fund provide much needed financial support for tuition and books for our students.
We appreciate your help during these tough economic times as we continue to prepare the communications leaders of the future.
