As the founding academic unit of West Virginia University, the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design is proud of our rich heritage and tradition. We work hard every day to serve more than 2,200 undergraduate and graduate students. Our faculty and staff are deeply dedicated to shaping this next generation of thinkers and doers in the broad fields of agriculture, natural resources and design.
Why we need your support
That’s the average number of individual students who are impacted each year at the WVU Davis College because of donor support.
Annually, the College is able to provide more than $540,000 in scholarships and roughly $20,000 to support travel, conferences and other value-added opportunities, thanks to support from people like you.
We believe in providing support for our students and faculty to achieve that margin of excellence that separates our college from all the rest. Your generosity provides the momentum we need to transform lives and create incredible opportunities for the students we proudly serve.
How you can help
Giving to the Dean’s Opportunity Fund is the best way to support us on the Day of Giving. This fund allows the dean the flexibility to help in all areas — from research to scholarships, to specific student and faculty needs, to other opportunities that advance our land-grant mission.
This fund provides scholarships to a broad range of students who may not otherwise be covered, including students with emergency scholarship needs.
Fashion, Dress and Merchandising Travel Fund
The FDM Travel Fund provides FDM students with financial support that will enhance their education and give them life-changing experiences. It provides scholarships for FDM students participating in programs such as the spring semester’s New York Study Tour and summer study abroad program Disegno Italia.
